We have a community midwife based at our surgery, Caroline Blamey. She works at the Town Surgery on a Wednesday alongside our GP, Dr. Barbara Robertson. All your visits to see the midwife are free. There will be a charge for seeing your GP for 3 visits -

6-10 weeks - the first appointment when you initially let us know you are pregnant when we give you the initial information and refer you to the midwife

26 weeks - a routine check with the GP including blood tests.

38 weeks - a routine check with the GP

These 3 appointments can be paid for separately and one at a time or all at once as part of our pregnancy package which includes free GP visits if you need to be seen outside of your routine appointments during your pregancy as well as you post-natal check up appointment when your baby is 6 weeks old.
