Repeat Prescriptions

Patients on long-term medication can request repeat prescriptions in the following way

• In person – drop your repeat slip in to reception. 
• By phone – on 01534 736336 for The Parade or 01534 741641 for St. Brelade.
• Online - By clicking the link above and filling out the online form (please specify which surgery branch you would like to collect from).

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.

Please allow 4-5 full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.

Prescription Charges

There is a charge for repeat prescriptions. This covers the administrative cost of processing the requests. The charges are: 

1 months' supply £5

2 months' supply £9

3 months' supply £13

An additional charge is applied for any prescriptions posted to a pharmacy.

There are NO charges at the pharmacy for any prescribed medication dispensed as long as it is on the authorised list for the government. 

Your request may take up to 48 hours to be processed. Your prescription will be ready 4-5 working days after you request it. If you need a prescription more urgently please contact the surgery on 736336 or 741641.
